Kimberly Newton, PHR, SHRM-CP is the Vice President of Human Resources for the NEEDS Center. Kimberly received her bachelor’s degree in education from Northeastern University. She received her PHR in Human Resources in 2008 and her SHRM Professional Certificate in Human Resources in 2015. Kimberly began her career in Human Services 25 years ago providing support to individuals with Acquired/Traumatic Brain Injury and then to working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Over the next several years, Kimberly held different positions in the field which included Program Manager, Assistant Director of Residential Services and Trainer. In 2002, Kimberly made a lateral move into Human Resources where her extensive experience in Human Services gave her a unique perspective in areas of recruiting, employee relations and Diversity. Kimberly’s HR career grew with increasing responsibility, gaining experience in organizational and staff development that helped to ensure business success while maintaining the highest quality of care provided to the individuals served.
