From September 13–19, The NEEDS Center celebrated Direct Support Professional Recognition Week, honoring the dedication, compassion, and commitment of our incredible DSPs.

Throughout the week, we shared messages of gratitude from leadership, people supported, and families across our social media platforms. This year’s theme, “The Difference Is You,” recognized the unique qualities each staff member brings to their work and the meaningful impact they make in the lives of the people we support.

On September 17, employees gathered at GameTime Lanes at the Northshore Mall for our annual Staff Recognition Day event. Staff enjoyed an afternoon of bowling, billiards, axe throwing, celebration, and time together as we recognized employees reaching five- and ten-year service milestones, along with the recipients of our Above and Beyond Awards.

Staff Recognition Day was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the people whose dedication helps move our mission forward every day. We are grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the event so special.

To all our DSPs and staff members: thank you for everything you do for the people we support, our programs, and our entire NEEDS Center community. The Difference Is You, not only during DSP Recognition Week, but all year long.
