From September 7–13, 2025, The NEEDS Center proudly celebrated Direct Support Professional Recognition Week. This annual tradition is dedicated to honoring the incredible work done by our incredible DSPs.

Throughout the week, we highlighted the dedication and compassion of our staff across all programs and services. Across our social media platforms, leadership, colleagues, and families supported by The NEEDS Center also shared their gratitude, offering heartfelt messages of thanks to our DSPs. It was a great week of showing recognition for DSPs.

On September 11, we gathered at Wamesit Lanes for Staff Recognition Day. The gathering provided the perfect setting to recognize employees who achieved five and ten years of service, as well as the recipients of our Above and Beyond Awards. Each honoree represents the heart of our mission, and their commitment helps shape the supportive and caring community that defines The NEEDS Center. 

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of our DSPs for their dedication and the positive impact they create every day. Thank you for making a difference, not only during DSP Recognition Week, but all year long.
