The NEEDS Center x Flutie 5K
This year, The NEEDS Center proudly joined the Flutie 5K for Autism in multiple communities, bringing together people we support, their families, staff, and partners for a day of fitness and fun! The Flutie 5K for Autism, founded by the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation, helps raise awareness and funds to support people with autism and developmental disabilities. We were honored to participate in three locations this year.
Our weekend kicked off on Saturday, October 25, at Cape Cod Village. Our Cape Cod team came out to walk, run and bike and enjoyed a gathering before the event and a fun filled lunch afterwards. Thank you to all that participated!
On Sunday, October 26, our Florida team gathered at scenic, Spring Park in Green Cove Springs. They proudly represented Team NEEDS Center while walking together for a great cause.
Also on Sunday, October 26, our Boston area team came together for the Flutie 5K flagship event at Natick High School. With thousands of participants gathered, this signature race continues to be a highlight for Team NEEDS Center. It was great to see so many of the people we support out there walking with their families, enjoying the day!
Thank You!
Across Massachusetts and Florida, Team NEEDS Center showed up! To everyone who walked, ran, rolled, donated, raised funds, volunteered, or cheered us on, thank you. Your support helps make a difference for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. We look forward to gathering again next year for the Flutie 5K for Autism.
